Projektierte Streckenlänge betrug 300 Meilen. Baubeginn am 24.6.1881. Gebaut wurde die Strecke bis Cainsville in Missouri, Streckenlänge 116 Meilen. Die Baukosten betrugen über 1 Mio. $, zusätzlich zu den Zuschüssen, die von den Gemeinden entlang der Strecke gewährt wurden. Fertigstellung als Anschlußbahn der Missouri State Line am 31.12.1883.
