Info:Gegründet 1876 zwecks Reorganisation der Oil Creek & Allegheny River RR, deren Bahnbetrieb 1866 eröffnet worden war. Strecke: Corry, Pa. nach Irvineton, Pa., 95 Meilen lang plus 28 Meilen Nebenstrecken. 1881 verschmolzen mit der Buffalo, Pittsburgh & Western Ry, der Salamanca, Bradford & Allegheny River RR und der Titusville & Oil City Ry zur Buffalo, Pittsburgh & Western RR. Nur zwei Jahre später 1883 wurde daraus durch Fusion mit drei weiteren Bahnen die Buffalo, New York & Philadelphia RR, im gleichen Jahr von 3-Fuß-Schmalspur auf Regelspur umgebaut. 1887 reorganisiert als Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad und erneut 1895 als „Railway“. 1900 von der Pennsylvania RR übernommen und 1955 in die Penndel Co. fusioniert worden.
Specials:Ungemein detailreiche Vignette mit Personenzug, im Vordergrund jagt ein Hund ein Kalb, im Hintergrund Farmer bei der Getreideernte und Fabriken mit rauchenden Schloten. Originalunterschriften Georg Bull als secretary und Thomas H. Dudley als president.
Availability:Unentwertet, mit Kupons ab 1877. Bei uns noch nie angeboten gewesenes Einzelstück aus einer uralten US-Sammlung. (R 10)
