Bis 1848 als reine Pferdebahn betrieben, danach schrittweise auf Dampfbetrieb umgestellt. 1863 verkaufte der Gründer und Großaktionär „Judge“ William Donaldson (der die Aktie als President auch original unterschrieben hat) seine Anteile an der Bahn an die Philadelphia & Reading Railroad. Die 17 Meilen lange Strecke führte von der Lorberry Junction über Tremont nach Donaldson, einer kleinen Ortschaft in Schuylkill County des Staates Pennsylvania. Die P&R benannte die Bahn nun in Good Spring Railroad um, da nach Bau einer 1,4 Meilen langen Verlängerung zur Good Spring Colliery dieses Anthrazitkohlebergwerk nun der Hauptkunde war. 1871 mit der Pine Grove & Lebanon RR und der Lorberry Creek RR zusammengeführt zur Lebanon & Tremont RR mit einer nun 31 Meilen langen Strecke und noch im gleichen Jahr vollständig auf die Philadelphia & Reading verschmolzen. | | Specials: | Ein herausragend illustriertes Papier mit mehreren Kupferstich-Vignetten, mittig Darstellung einer Uralt-Eisenbahn.
