Neben schwierigen Tiefgründungen in New York City wurde der Brückenbau seine Spezialität. Die von ihm geplante Spannseilbrücke über den Thames River bei New London, Conn. war mit 503 Fuß Länge die größte ihrer Zeit. Sein Werk krönte er mit der New Yorker Central Bridge über den Harlem River, 4.500 Fuß lang. Das Spannseil war damals mit 2.400 Tonnen Gewicht die größte bis dahin jemals auf der Erde bewegte Masse. Auch die Stahlkonstruktion des noch heute berühmten Singer Building in New York plante Boller’s Ingenieurbüro. | | Availability: | Unentwertet, nur die Stücke #2 + #4 sind uns bekannt.
