Starting price: 125,00 EUR Issuing- date: 16.06.1845 Issuing- place: Ohio Picture: Number: 18 Info: Der ursprüngliche Miami Kanal erstreckte sich von Cincinnatti, Ohio entlang des Ohio Rivers über die Schluchten von Mill Creek bis nach Defiance, wo er sich mit dem Wabash und Erie Kanal vereint. Der ursprüngliche Teil des Kanals wurde 1830 mit einem Gesamtaufwand von 3,75 Mio. $ fertiggestellt. Gemäß Erlass vom 28.2.1843 wurde die Ohio Canal Fund Commission mit dem Ziel gegründet, den Miami Kanal zu erweitern und auszubauen.
