Betrieb neben dem Fischfang auch Räuchereien und stellte Lebertran und Fischkonserven her. Bereits damals etwa 250 Verkaufsfilialen in ganz Deutschland. Am 7.12.1938 Firmenname in Nordsee Deutsche Hochseefischerei AG geändert. Heute ist die Nordsee die bekannteste Fischladen-Kette.
