Bereits 1870 fusionierte sie mit der Central Pacific Railroad Co. of California und drei weiterer Bahnen zur berühmten “Central Pacific Railway”, deren dann 881 Meilen lange Strecke von San Francisco, Cal. nach Ogden, Utah führte.
