Strecke Ibbenbüren-Brochterbeck-Lengerich-Versmold-Gütersloh-Hövelhof (94 km) mit 7 km langem Abzweig zum Dortmund-Ems-Kanal. Sitz der Gesellschaft bis 1909 in Tecklenburg, bis 1925 in Gütersloh, danach in Berlin. 1916 übernahm die Allgemeine Deutsche Eisenbahn-Betriebsgesellschaft (ADEBG, später ADEG) die Betriebsführung. 1945 wechselte die Betriebsführung an die in Frankfurt ansässige Deutsche Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (DEG). 1997 Übernahme der DEG durch den französischen Mischkonzern Vivendi, seither wird die TWE als Tochtergesellschaft der Connex geführt.
