Mark. 1928 erfolgte die Änderung des Firmennamens in Burbach-Kaliwerke AG. Im Burbach-Konzern gingen 28 selbständige Kali-Bergwerke auf. Ende der zwanziger Jahre übernahm der Wintershall-Konzern 45% des Burbach-Konzerns.
