Ursprünglich in der Campestraße ansässig, 1914-16 Neubau der Fabrik in Gliesmarode. Bekannt war die Firma für ihre optischen Erzeugnisse und Kameras, aber auch Photopapiere, Filme, Platten und Photochemikalien wurden hergestellt. Das erklärt die nicht so bekannte Tatsache, daß das Unternehmen als Ganzes im Jahr 1927 an den Großaktionär Schering AG verpachtet wurde, die wenigen Kleinaktionäre erhielten eine Dividendengarantie.
