Als eine der ersten deutschen Viehmarktsbanken stellte man sich schon früh auf das allgemeine Bankgeschäft um. Zu diesem Zweck wurde 1910 neben der Geschäftsstelle auf dem städtischen Vieh- und Schlachthof auch ein Stadtgeschäft eingerichtet (Ostra-Allee 9-11 im Haus der Kaufmannschaft) und 1914 wie oben umfirmiert. 1922 Angliederung des Bankhauses Schmidt & Gottschalk in Bautzen und Weiterführung als Filiale Bautzen. 1930 Übernahme der Credit- und Depositen-Bank für Sachsen AG in Dresden, in deren Gebäude Ringstr. 64/Johannesstr. 19 wurde eine weitere Geschäftsstelle eingerichtet. Die Bank stand in freundschaftlicher Beziehung zur Sächsischen Staatsbank und Sächsischen Girozentrale, die einen Teil der Aktien besaß.
