Zu dieser Zeit gab es in ganz Württemberg Bestrebungen, den Obstbau von unkontrolliertem Streuobstbau hin zu systematisch bewirtschafteten Anlagen (Mustergärten) zu führen. Ihre Blütezeit erlebte die Genossenschaft zwischen 1900 und 1930. In dieser Zeit wurden Flächen gerodet, neu parzelliert und mit damals modernen, marktfähigen Obstsorten bepflanzt.
