Nach Übertragung der Goldfelder an die Central-Afrikanische Bergwerks-Gesellschaft war Haupttätigkeit der Gesellschaft die Salzproduktion (Salinen Gottorp, Udjidji-Kigoma und Ussumbura in Deutsch-Ostafrika). Die Ges. besaß außerdem Edelmineralfelder (Goldvorkommen) in der Landschaft Ikoma gemeinsam mit der Central-Afrikanischen Bergwerks-Gesellschaft, an der sie mit 497.200 Mark beteiligt war.
