Aus unzähligen vorherigen Fusionen, Konkursen und Reorganisationen gingen schließlich die Vermont Central RR und die Vermont & Canada RR hervor. Auch diese beiden gingen 1884 Konkurs, Nachfolger wurde die “Consolidated Railroad Co. of Vermont”. Neben der Hauptstrecke Windsor-Burlington, Vt. (100 Meilen) waren noch 12 weitere Bahnen gepachtet, insgesamt war das Streckennetz 728 Meilen lang. Die am 30.6.1884 ausschließlich aus juristischen Gründen entstandene „Consolidated“ war als Eintagsfliege konzipiert, bereits einen Tag später am 1.7.1884 ging das Eisenbahnvermögen an eine neue Central Vermont. Die ging 1896 erneut in Konkurs und wurde dann von der kanadischen Grand Trunk Ry. übernommen. | | Specials: | Sehr dekorative kreisrunde Dampflok-Stahlstichvignette wird von geflügelten Löwen flankiert. | | Availability: | Unentwertet.
