Ab 1896 baute er Taxis mit Elektromotor, 1900 erschien eine ansehnliche Voiturette. 1905 wurde die Automobilfabrik von britischen Investoren übernommen (A. Darracq & Co. (1905) Ltd.). 1912 schied Alexander Darracq aus der Firma aus und investierte sein Geld stattdessen in das Casino von Deauville (in der Tat hatte er Automobile nie wirklich gemocht, er konnte nicht Auto fahren und wollte auch nicht gefahren werden). 1920 verband sich Darracq mit Sunbeam-Talbot (deren Autos in England noch bis 1939 weiter als Darracqs verkauft wurden). | | Specials: | Zweisprachig französisch/spanisch, fünf Vignetten mit Ansichten des spanischen Zweigwerkes. | | Availability: | Ein wichtiger, äußerst seltener Automobilwert. | | Condition: | EF. | | Sold: | 75,00 EUR v |
