Am 27.1.1928 wurde die Firma umbenannt in Chemie-AG für chemische und pharmazeutische Erzeugnisse und trat in Liquidation. Gleichzeitig wurde die Vertriebsgesellschaft der Chemischen Werke Carl Buchner & Sohn GmbH gegründet, welche sich mit der Brückner, Lampe & Co.
