Sheffield & Birmingham RR (1885), ab 1887 schließlich unter obigem Namen. Die 97 Meilen lange in Sheffield, Ala. beginnende Hauptstrecke (ab 1887 in Etappen eröffnet) erreichte schließlich 1889 ihr Ziel Parrish, Ala. (der Ort ist benannt nach Alfred Parrish aus Philadelphia, der als president der Bahn auch original unterschrieben hat). Mit 12 Lokomotiven und 560 Güterwagen wurde Eisenerz und Kohle für die von Alfred Parrish beherrschte Sheffield & Birmingham Coal, Iron & Railway Co. transportiert. Bereits 1899 erneut reorganisiert als Northern Alabama Ry., 1939 von der Southern Railway übernommen worden (seit 1990 die heute Warren Buffet‘s Berkshire Hathaway gehörende Norfolk Southern), Strecke noch heute in Betrieb. | | Specials: | Toller blaugrün/schwarzer HLBNC-Stahlstich, ungemein fein gestochene 13 cm breite Vignette mit Personenzug vor Bahnhofsgebäude. | | Availability: | Unentwertet (rückseitig Stempel von 1895 bezgl.
