Das Ziel wurde nie erreicht, die im Okt. 1908 eröffnete Strecke endete in Hamburg und Crossett. Bereits 1913 pleite, anschließend als „Railroad“ reorganisiert. Nach weiteren Konkursen 1915 und 1920 und unzähligen Besitzerwechseln ist es ein Wunder, daß die 53 Meilen lange Bahn (die heute Arkansas, Louisiana & Mississippi RR heißt) in weiten Teilen bis heute existiert. Der Grund: 1991 wurde sie von der Georgia-Pacific Corp. aufgekauft, die die Strecke für ihre in der Gegend liegenden Papierfabriken und Forstaktivitäten benötigte. | | Specials: | Grün/schwarzer ABNC-Stahlstich, riesige äußerst feine Vignette mit heranbrausendem Zug auf viergleisiger Strecke, Bahnarbeitern, Stellwerk. | | Availability: | Unentwertet, mit Kupons ab 1910.
