Das Werk Odenkirchen wurde 1928 stillgelegt und die Produktion in M.Gladbach-Neuwerk konzentriert, deshalb 1929 Umfirmierung in “Pongs Spinnerei und Weberei AG” und Sitzverlegung nach Gladbach-Rheydt. Börsennotiert in Berlin, die Aktienmehrheit besaß zuletzt die Deutsche Baumwoll AG (Debag) in Mülheim/Ruhr, Holdingges. der Hammersen-Dierig-Gruppe.
