Der Basalt wurde auf zwei Sohlen gebrochen und auf einer eigenen 1 km langen Schmalspurbahn zur Reichsbahn-Station Wernswig transportiert. Außerdem wurde ein Schotterwerk mit 500 t Tagesproduktion errichtet. Anfang 1923 außerdem Übernahme des Basaltwerks Wernswig.
