Dies blieb eine große Vision: Fertiggestellt wurde nur ein 14 Meilen langes Teilstück von Hastings nach Woodbury, wo man an die Detroit, Lansing & Northern RR (später: Pere Marquette RR) anschloß. 1901 gab es (finanziert durch Ausgabe von 450.000 $ pref. shares) immerhin noch eine Verlängerung auf nun 44 Meilen bis Pavillon, Mich., dort Anschluß an die Grand Trunk Ry. 1906 an die Michigan Central verpachtet und auf dem Wege 1930 vollständig im mächtigen System der New York Central aufgegangen. Die N.Y.
