Das früheste Produkt war eine tip-up action single shot Pistole. Am 29. Jan. 1886 reorganisiert als J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co. Die Firma stellte das 22 Long Gewehr her und produzierte eine Anzahl von Gewehren, Schrotflinten und Pistolen. 1902 warb die Firma mit dem Slogan "größter Hersteller von Sportgewehren in der Welt". 1915 wurde die Firma gekauft von New England Westinghouse und 1920 von Savage Arms. Als Teil von Savage, Stevens produzierte die Firma Schusswaffen in Chicopee Falls bis 1960, bis die Gebäude abgerissen wurden. Die Stevensproduktion wurde in die Savageeinrichtungen überführt. 1991 wurde Stevens aus dem Firmennamen entfernt, aber 1999 dann doch weitergeführt. | | Specials: | Sehr dekorativ mit Abb. einem Stevens Premier-Gewehr. | | Availability: | Toperhaltung.
