Dem Ruf des Präsidenten der Messeleitung, dem Prinzen Amadeo Di Savoia, folgten 14.000 Aussteller. Mit mehr als 3 Mio. Besucher war die Esposizione Generale Italiana in Turin ein voller Erfolg. Im Vordergrund dieser Messe standen Erfindungen im Bereich der Technik, wie z.B. Elektrifizierung und Fernmeldetechnik. Diese Messe war aus heutiger Sicht ein bedeutender Impulsgeber für die italienische Wirtschaft. | | Specials: | Kunst auf Wertpapieren! Wunderschöne, großformatige Aktie mit allegorischen Darstellungen, im Hintergrund Landschaft mit Burg, daneben ein Schloß. Die graphische Gestaltung der Aktie stammt von Celestino Turletti (1845-1904), einem bedeutenden Genremaler und Radierer, der seit 1869 in Turin ausstellte. Turletti radierte u.a. nach Velázquez.
