Brandenburg entwickelte sich damals interessanterweise zu einem Zentrum der deutschen Fahrradproduktion: Neben den Alexander-Fahrradwerken gab es mit den Excelsior- und Corona-Fahrradfabriken noch zwei weitere Aktiengesellschaften dieser Branche in der Stadt!
