Starting price: 150,00 EUR Issuing- place: Pennsylvania Picture: Info: Bereits 1866 gegründete Schiffbaugesellschaft, früher Birely & Sons and Hillman & Streaker (gegründet 1840). Die Gesellschaft baute unter anderem die SS Lewis, einen transatlantischen Dampfer, bestimmt für die Boston & Liverpool Linie. 1888 kaufte Charles Hillman die Partner Jacob Birely und David Streaker aus und die Firma wurde umbenannt in Charles Hillman & Engine Building Co. 1893 baute die Gesellschaft den ersten eisernen Dampfsegler, die Anthony B. Groves für die Baltimore and Philadelphia Steamboat Co. 1899 ging die Schiffbaugesellschaft in Konkurs, 1900 wurde sie von William Cramp & Sons übernommen.
