place: | Asseln | | Picture: |  | | Number: | 1 | | Info: | 1857 wurde der Aplerbecker Aktien-Verein für Bergbau gegründet, der die Steinkohlenbergwerke Margarethe, Neue Hoffnung I und II sowie Faust vereinigte. 1859 begann auf der Zeche Margarethe die Kohleförderung (Schächte 1 und 2 an der Bahnlinie Aplerbeck-Holzwickede). 1902 übernahm Aplerbeck u.a. auch das südlich angrenzende Feld Haus Sölde. 1919 ging die Aktienmehrheit von Aplerbeck an die Gew.
