Die Ges. war eine Gründung der Familie von Nolcken in Arensburg auf der estnischen Insel Ösel (Osilia). Das deutschbaltische Adelsgeschlecht Nolcken stammt ursprünglich aus der Grafschaft Hoya. Die Insel Ösel fiel 1721 an das Russische Reich und wurde Hauptort im Gouvernement Livland. Im 19. Jh. entwickelte sich die Stadt zu einem beliebten Kurort, was eine entsprechend auskömmliche Geschäftsgrundlage für den Betrieb dieses Ausflugsdampfers schuf. | | Specials: | Zweisprachig russisch/deutsch, mit Originalunterschriften in kyrillischer Schrift.
