place: | Nanterre | | Picture: |  | | Number: | 985 | | Info: | Gegründet 1920 zum Bau von Tragflügelbooten mit flachem Boden und wenig Tiefgang, angetrieben von einem Überkopfpropeller. Schon in den 1880er Jahren testete der Schweizer Physiker Raoul Pictet auf dem Genfersee entsprechende Rümpfe und veröffentlichte 1883 die „theoretische und experimentelle Studie eines Schnellboots“. 1905 entwickelte Graham Bell in Nova Scotia (Kanada) ein Schnellboot (welches sein Assistent Glenn Curtiss 1920 für die Sümpfe Floridas weiterentwickelte). 1907 testete Charles de Lambert ein von ihm konstruiertes von einem Luftpropeller angetriebenes Schnellboot, das vor allem in den französischen Indochina-Kolonien als Transportmittel dienen sollte. 1913 stellte ein Lambert-Tragflügelboot mit einem 200-PS-Gnom-Motor mit 98,6 km/h einen neuen Geschwindigkeitsrekord auf dem Wasser auf. | | Specials: | Großformatig, mehrfarbiger Druck mit Tragflügelbooten auf dem urwaldumsäumten Mekong. | | Availability: | Einzelstück aus einer alten Sammlung, bei uns noch nie angeboten gewesen. | | Condition: | EF+ | | Sold: | 100,00 EUR |
