Ausgestellt und original unterschrieben von M.F. Stark. Außerdem original signiert von William Shermwell als President. Shermwell, ein Schmied aus Colorado Springs, war einer der ersten Prospektoren im Cripple Creek district. Eine seiner ersten Erwerbungen war der halbe Anteil der Elkton Mine; kurz darauf gab er diesen Anteil her zur Bezahlung einer Warenhausrechnung von 36 $. Ein schlechter Tausch: Die Elkton Mine erbrachte später Gold im Wert von 16 Mio. $.
