Febr. 1889 erhielten Christel Föge, Joseph Raders und Carl Griese aus Hamburg das Reichspatent 51081 auf ihren "Apparat zur selbstthätigen Herstellung von Photographien". Die Deutsche Photomaton AG wurde im Juni 1928 gegründet. 1937 Umwandlung der AG in eine oHG durch Vermögensübertragung ohne Abwicklung auf die Deutsche Photomaton-Gesellschaft.
