Info:Im Aug. 1871 war die Strecke zwischen Hannibal und Moberly, Mo. durch Monroe City komplettiert. Dazu ein Beitrag aus der The Railroad Gazette vom 2. Sept. 1871: "This road, which was been for sometime in progress from Hannibal westward, seventy miles, to Moberly, Missouri, on the North Missouri Road Company was completed on the 21st of August, the road forms an important western connection for the Toledo, Wabash & Western Road, being on nearly and exact air line between Toledo and Kansas City and making the distance between these places, via The North Missouri, 660 miles - 42 miles shorter than the present route via The Hannibal & St. Joseph Road." Die Bahn war verpachtet an die Toledo, Wabash & Western Ry. Die H&CMRR war im Juni 1873 an die Missouri, Kansas and Texas Ry übermittelt worden. 1944 von der Wabash Ry. übernommen, die nach drei Reorganisationen schließlich 1991 Teil der Norfolk & Western wurde.
Specials:Wunderschöne Vignette mit Eisenbahn im Bahnhof vor Industrielandschaft, mit Pferdekutsche. Mit imprinted revenue. Original signiert von Alfred W. Lamb als President.
