Weltkrieg geschlossen. Nachdem die Geschäfte im Orient abzuwickeln waren, übernahm man in Frankfurt a.M. die Bankfirma A. Jaffé & C. Trier am Frankfurter Opernplatz, verlegte den Firmensitz nach Frankfurt und firmierte um in “Westbank AG“. Damals in Berlin und Frankfurt börsennotiert. Ansässig in der Bockenheimer Landstr. 2, Ende der 1950er Jahre umgezogen in ein eigenes Bankgebäude in der Taunuusanlage 16. In den 1960er Jahren erwarb die DRESDNER BANK die Aktienmehrheit; die Bilanzsumme hatte überschaubare 40 Mio. DM erreicht. 1968 (auch wegen der ständigen Verwechslung mit der in Altona beheimateten Schleswig Holsteinischen und Westbank, einem Vorgänger der späteren Vereins- und Westbank) umgewandelt in die Südbank GmbH. | | Availability: | Mit Restkuponbogen von 1942, lochentwertet.
