Hermes & Zeyen GmbH. Albert Prinz war auch Mitbegründer des Felgenherstellers Kronprinz AG in Solingen-Ohligs (später Mannesmann-Kronprinz). Haupterzeugnisse: Preß-, Stanz- und Ziehteile, Bestecke aller Art, Koch- und Bratgeschirre, Haushaltsgeräte. In Langenfeld (Rhld.) bestand ein Zweigwerk. 1961 Abkürzung des Firmennamens auf Carl Prinz AG. Die Aktienmehrheit lag bei der Familie Prinz, aber die Aktien notierten auch im Düsseldorfer Freiverkehr. Zuletzt noch knapp 400 Beschäftigte. 1979 in eine GmbH umgewandelt. | | Specials: | Ausgegeben ist die Aktie im Geburtsjahr von Gerhard Prinz (1929-1983), dem Sohn des AG-Gründers Albert Prinz.. Er war u.a. 1968-73 Vorstandsmitglied bei VW, 1972-74 Vorstandsvorsitzender der Audi NSU Auto-Union AG und ab 1974 Vorstandsmitglied bei Daimler-Benz; 1979 folgte Prinz als Vorstandsvorsitzender auf Joachim Zahn.
