Erst 1875 konnte die Hauptstrecke eröffnet werden, und die Abzweigung sogar erst 1879. Der Frachtverkehr, von dem die Bahn hauptsächlich leben wollte, kam aber nicht im erhofften Maße, und so wurde sie im Mai 1879 insolvent. Dann unter obigem Namen reorganisiert und von der mächtigen Chicago & Northwestern Railway "geschluckt" worden, die mit ihrem später 5.300 Meilen langen Netz der "Platzhirsch" in den Staaten Illinois, Iowa und Wisconsin war. | | Availability: | Bei uns erstmals überhaupt angeboten. | | Condition: | EF+. | | Sold: | 110,00 EUR |
