Er erwarb eine Immobilie im jüdischen Viertel von Philadelphia an der nordöstlichen Ecke der 5. und Gaskill Street und baute sie zu einem luxuriösen Theater um. Parallel zu den Vorstellungen der Wheatley Dramatic Association, wurden hier jidische Theaterstücke gespielt.
