Das Schiff, benannt nach dem altnordischen mythologischen Schlachtfeld “Wigrid”, wurde 1922 von der Deutsche Werft AG in Hamburg gebaut. 1938 wurde das Schiff an die Gdynia America Shipping Lines Ltd. verkauft und verkehrte zwischen Gdynia in Polen und New York, USA. 1941 wurde “Vigrid” torpediert und versank mit einigen Passagieren, dabei auch Krankenschwestern des US-Roten Kreuzes. | | Specials: | Ein Stück aus der ersten Kapitalerhöhung von 300.000 auf 1,2 Mio. nkr.
