Herstellung von Maschinen, Metall- und Stahlwaren aller Art, außerdem serienweise Herstellung von Automobilen und stationären Motoren. Fafnir wurde mit der Aufnahme der Automobilproduktion im Jahr 1908 schnell einer der führenden deutschen Automobilhersteller. Eigengefertigte Motoren mit 1520-2496 ccm Hubraum saßen unter der Haube ausgesprochen fortschrittlicher Autos.
