Die Gesellschaft ermöglichte eine wirtschaftliche Nutzung der riesigen Mengen an Kokereigas (seinerzeit 2 Mrd. cbm im Jahr), welches in Ringleitungen gesammelt und an die Abnehmer weiterverteilt wurde.
