Im Jahre 1906 baute die neue Ges. die Kanalfähre “St. George”, eines der weltweit ersten Fahrzeuge mit Dampfturbinenantrieb. 1920 lieferte die Werft mit der “Fullagar” das weltweit erste vollständig geschweißte Seeschiff ab. Bis zum Ende des 2. WK baute die Werft über 1.000 Schiffe, davon eine große Zahl von Kriegs- und Passagierschiffen. Während des 2.
