Auf gemeinsame Rechnung mit Daniel Morian aus Neumühl begann man 1853 in Neumühl nach Kohle zu bohren. Die Bohrungen wurden fündig. 1867 wurden die Felder in der Gewerkschaft des Steinkohlenbergwerks Neumühl konsolidiert. Auch hier lagen die Kuxe ausschließlich im Besitz der Haniel-Erben. Vier Förderschächte, 240 Koksöfen. Bis über 6.000 Mann Belegschaft, jährliche Kohleförderung bis 1,5 Mio. Tonnen. Seit 1933 in Personalunion mit der Gewerkschaft Rheinpreussen geführt. Auch nach Umwandlung der Gewerkschaft in eine AG im Jahr 1951 blieb im Rahmen eines Betriebsüberlassungsvertrages die Schachtanlage Neumühl eine Betriebsabteilung von Rheinpreussen. | | Specials: | Ausgestellt auf Frau Gräfin Elsa von Waldersee geb.
