place: | Marseille | | Picture: |  | | Info: | Gegründet 1836 von Marc Fraissinet als Schwestergesellschaft einer im gleichen Jahr von einem Familienmitglied gegründeten Reederei in Rotterdam. Um 1870 betrieb die Reederei feste Schifffahrtslinien u.a. nach Indien, Ottomanisches Reich und Italien. 1874 Konzession der franz. Regierung für den Postdienst nach Korsika, ab 1878 Schiffsverbindungen nach Palästina und Russland (Odessa). Den 1. WK überstanden heil nur 10 Dampfer der Gesellschaft. 1935 umbenannt in Cie. de Navigation Fraissinet. Im 2. WK wurden die meisten ihrer 14 Dampfer von den Deutschen beschlagnahmt. 1955 nach Fusion umbenannt in Cie. de Navigation Fraissinet et Cyprien Fabre, wobei Fraissinet Schiffsverbindungen nach Westafrika unterhielt und Fabre eine Amerika-Linie betrieb. | | Specials: | Sehr dekorative barocke Zierumrandung, unten Vignette mit einem Dampfsegler. | | Availability: | Äußerst selten. | | Condition: | EF+. | | Sold: | unsold |
