Anschließend wurde das Großkraftwerk Bruck-Fusch (Bärenwerk) gebaut. Dazu kamen später das Angertalwerk in Bad Hofgastein und das Murfallwerk in Hintermuhr. 1947 als Landesgesellschaft für das Bundesland Salzburg verstaatlicht worden. 1949 wurden gegen Hergabe einer Beteiligung von 36 % alle im Land Salzburg gelegenen Anlagen der Oberösterr.
