Produziert wurden Säuren und Destillate. Firmensitz war in Pouilly-sur-Saone, einem Dorf in Burgund, die Fabrik befand sich in Dijon. Jean-Baptiste Mollerat erlangte nicht nur den Ruf eines ausgezeichneten Wissenschaftlers, er wurde auch als Mentor von Gustave Eiffel, seinem Neffen, bekannt.
