Starting price: 80,00 EUR Issuing- date: 02.01.1918 Issuing- place: New Athens, Illinois Picture: Number: 77 Info: Gegründet 1874 durch Stephen Astor, 1875 von Jacob Hoos übernommen worden, seit 1877 “New Athens Brewery”, 1904 umbenannt wie oben. Die Brauerei wurde nun von der Familie Probst kontrolliert, ebenfalls Einwanderer aus Deutschland. Als president unterschreibt Isfried Probst, als secretary Robert Probst. 1920 in der Prohibition geschlossen worden, 1933 als “Mound City Brewing Co.” wiedereröffnet. 1951 wurde die Brauerei stillgelegt.
