Der bis zu 10 m hohe Viadukt erschloß verkehrsmäßig das tiefliegende Mündungsgebiet des Kaw River, wo sich unzählige Industriebetriebe angesiedelt hatten. Lastwagen und Fußgänger benutzten den mautpflichtigen Viadukt ebenso wie die Straßenbahnen der Metropolitan Street Ry. und die Züge der Kansas City-Western Ry. An der Hickory Street führte eine Rampe vom Viadukt in die Niederung, an der Mulberry Street waren 8 Aufzüge in Betrieb. | | Specials: | Grün/schwarzer Stahlstich der ABNC.
