Von der 33rd zur 35rd Street führte eine kurze Anschlußbahn zur Station der Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe Ry. Eröffnet bereits 1854. Vor allem europäisches Kapital war involviert (neben dem Verwaltungssitz in New York, 49 Wall Street unterhielt die Bahngesellschaft sogar eine weitere Verwaltung in Paris). 1871, 1880 und 1882 ging die Bahn gleich drei Mal hintereinander pleite und wurde immer wieder unter gleichem Namen reorganisiert. 1895 schließlich übernahmen die Missouri, Kansas & Texas Ry. und die Missouri Pacific RR gemeinsam die Kontrolle. Dass die Bahn bis heute besteht ist wahrscheinlich der Grund für die andauernde spekulative Nachfrage nach ihren alten Bonds von Mitte des 19.
