Ziel war die Förderung des Reit- und Fahrsportes. 1923 übernahm der neugegründete Verein für Reit- und Fahrsport die zwischenzeitlich in den Betrieb des Neusser Reiter- und Rennvereins (gegr. 1875) gelangte Reitbahn.
