Hammel in Kirchheim a. Eck. Mitte der 30er Jahre verarbeiteten die beiden Malzfabriken in Kirchheim a. Eck (Pfalz) und Pfungstadt (Hessen) jährlich rd. 100.000 Ztr. Gerste und hatten neuerdings auch ein lebhaftes Exportgeschäft, vor allem nach Übersee. Bis 1929 außerdem an der Wellpappenwerk GmbH Bruchsal beteiligt. 1936 umbenannt in Malzfabrik Rheinpfalz AG und Sitzverlegung nach Pfungstadt. Die Aktien notierten im Freiverkehr Mannheim (später Frankfurt(, Großaktionäre waren die Mälzerei Wrede AG aus Köthen i. Anh. (56,8 %) und der Alleinvorstand Hans Lehnkering, Darmstadt (37,73 %).
