Neben dem Bankgeschäft betätigte sich die Bank auch industriell: Sie besaß die Schlossfabrik Altenbeckenund war als Aktionär beteiligt bei der Metallwerke Neheim, der Zement- und Kalkwerke Bestwig sowie der Paderborner Aktienbrauerei. 1909 kamen Unregelmäßigkeiten zu Tage: Vorstand Dr. Cordes, Direktor Richter und Prokurist Werner wurden unter dem Verdacht der Bilanzverschleierung und des Vergehens gegen das Depotgesetz verhaftet und vor Gericht gestellt.
