Seit 1897 AG (Fabrik isolierter Drähte zu elektrischen Zwecken AG), 1899 Betriebsverlegung nach Adlershof. 1945/46 als “VEB Kabelwerk Köpenick” in Volkseigentum überführt. 1965 Verschmelzung mit der nunmehr in Köln (vorher Apolda) ansässigen “Thüringische Elektrizitäts- und Gaswerke AG”. Sitzverlegungen 1969 nach Köln, 1982 nach Hannover. 1998/99 Umfirmierung in C. J. Vogel AG für Beteiligungen und weitere Sitzverlegung nach Hamburg.
